Matt. 4:4-10; Luke 4:4-12; John 4

It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word from the mouth of God. But the hour comes, and now is, when true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth; for the Father seeks such to worship him. God is a Spirit and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Matt. 12:25-45; Mar. 3:23-29; Luke 11:17-26; Luke 11:28; Matt. 5:33-37

But I say unto you, every idle word that men shall speak they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by your words you shall be justified, and by your words you shall be condemned. Yea, rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God and keep it. Again, you have heard that it has been said by them of old time, You shall not forswear yourself, but shall perform unto the Lord your oaths; but I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven, for it is God's throne; nor by the earth, for it is his footstool; neither by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King. Neither shall you swear by your head, because you cannot make one hair white or black. But let your communication be, Yes; and No; for that which is more than these comes of evil.

Matt. 7:21-23; Luke 6:46

Why do you call me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? Not every one that says unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that does the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in your name? And in your name have cast out devils? And in your name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you; depart from me, you that work iniquity.

Matt. 15:10-20; Mark. 7:14-23

Hearken unto me every one of you and understand: that which enters into the mouth cannot defile a man. The words coming from the mouth, show that he is defiled. Those things that proceed out of the mouth of the man come from the heart, and they defile the man. For from within, out of the heart of men proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, pride, foolishness. All these evil things come from within and expose the defiled man ...

Luke 12:8-12

Also I say unto you, He who confesses me before men, him shall the son of man also confess before the angels of God. But he that denies me before men shall be denied before the angels of God. And he who speaks a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him. But unto him that blasphemes against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven. And when they bring you unto the synagogues, and unto magistrates and powers, take no thought how or what you shall answer, or what you shall say; for the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour what you ought to say.

John 12:47-50

And if any man hear my words and believe not, I judge him not. For I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. He that rejects me and receives not my words, has one that judges him. The word that I have spoken, shall judge him in the last day. For I have not spoken of myself, but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say and speak. And I know that his commandment is life everlasting. All that I speak, as the Father said unto me, so I speak.

John 14:10, 23-24

Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father in me? The words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself, but the Father that lives in me, he does the works. If a man love me, he will keep my words, and my Father will love him; and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. He that loves me not does not keep my sayings. And the word which you hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.
