Peace = rest, ease, security, harmony, serenity and the absence of hostility.

Luke 11:21

Strong man’s goods are secure in a peaceful environment.

When a strong man armed keeps his palace, his goods are in peace.

Why are you so fearful, O you of little faith?...Peace be still.

Matthew 9:22; Mark 5:34; Luke 8:48

Jesus tells a woman to go without fear of obligation.

Daughter, be of good comfort; your faith has made you whole; go in peace and be whole of your plague.

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the children of The Father.

Peace = sense of harmony and serenity.

And when you come into a house, salute it. And if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it; but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you.

Jesus came to promote peace on earth but men do not allow that to happen.

Think not that I am come to send peace on earth. I came not to send peace, but a sword.

Luke 12:51,52

Suppose you that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, No, but rather division. For from here on there shall be five in one house divided three against two, and two against three.

Activities that make peace.

If your brother trespass against you, go, tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother.

Luke 17:3,4

Take heed to yourselves. If your brother trespass against you, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. If he trespass against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again saying, I repent; you shall forgive him.

Peter needed to know how many times to forgive.

Matthew 18:22

I say unto you, More than seven times, but until seventy times seven.

Luke 19:42

If you had known, in this your day, the things which belong unto your peace! But now they are hid from your eyes.

John 13:12-15

Humility helps maintain peace.

You call me Master and Lord, and you say correctly; for so I am. If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; you should wash one another's feet. For I have given you an example that you should do as I have done to you

Peace I leave with you. My peace I give unto you. Not as the world gives, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Followers have peace in the midst of tribulation.
