The Scriptures all point toward Jesus and His Words.

This is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased.

Hear Him.

The Heavenly Father's words about Jesus speak clearly.

The Lord thy God will raise up unto thee a prophet … unto him you shall hearken.

But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, … with the rod of his mouth and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.

… when they had seen the miracle that Jesus did, said, 'This is of a truth that prophet …'

Many of the people…, said, Of a truth this is that prophet.

You men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, …

This Jesus has God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses. Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he has shed forth this, which ye now see and hear. Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God has made that same Jesus, whom ye crucified, both Lord and Christ.

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor. He sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind; to set at liberty them that are bruised: To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. … This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.

Jesus quoted Isaiah 61:1

The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness...

If you had believed Moses, you would have believed me; for he wrote of me. But if you believe not his writings, how shall you believe my words?

He that rejects me and receives not my words, has one that judges him. The word that I have spoken, shall judge him in the last day. For I have not spoken of myself, but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say and speak.

...out of his mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron:

Jesus was recommended by Moses as the prophet of preference. Isaiah mentioned the Rod and breath, which sounds like the sword in the mouth of the conquering King shown in Revelation. Bible authors agree that Jesus is the Only Begotten Son of God; therefore we believe His words are the most important words available to mankind. .
